Adaptive Physical Education (Redwood City)

They offer gentle flow yoga classes designed specifically for seniors and those with limited flexibility. Students learn basic poses and elements to increase stamina, flexibility, strength, and breath awareness. The class is good for those new to yoga or for more experienced students who wish to deepen their practice. Poses will be adapted for those who wish to use a chair.  The classes are drop in or pay by session. Enrollment can be done through the instructor before class.  They have bathrooms and water fountains available on site.

They offer Bikram, Flow, Yin, beginners and Kriya yoga classes.

Burgess Recreation Center (Menlo Park)

They offer Feldenkrais and other types of yoga classes.

Burlingame Recreation Center (Burlingame)

Every woman health club (Redwood City)

This health club is women-only. They offer Yolates, Iyengar, restorative and Flow yoga classes Monday through Saturday with morning and evening classes.

Foster City Senior Wing (Foster City)

Little House, Roslyn G. Morris Activity Center (Menlo Park)

They have Kundalini, Hatha, Feldenkrais classes.  You can drop in or pay for a whole session.

Mission Blue Center (Brisbane)

They offer Hatha and other yoga classes.

Nandi Yoga (San Mateo)
Classes offered are flow, Iyengar, Yin, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and restorative yoga. Classes are offered all week and at all times from morning to evening.
Omine Yoga (San Bruno)
They offer beginner and intermediate Hatha yoga classes.
Planet Granite (Belmont)

Classes offered are Kilo Lani, Vinyasa, Hatha, Power Flow, Core, Iyengar and hybrid. Classes are offered all week and at all times from morning to evening.

San Bruno Senior Center (San Bruno)

The center is almost 13,000 square feet in size and located in the hills between City Park and Junipero Serra County Park.  They have a bus providing door to door service to and from the senior center for residents. They have a couple of different yoga classes.

San Carlos Adult Community Center (San Carlos)

The center is adjacent to City Hall.  They offer yoga classes.

San Mateo Senior Center (San Mateo)

The center offers different types of yoga classes including Pilates and Feldenkrais.

Twin Pines Senior & Community Center (Belmont)

They offer yoga classes.

William E. Walker Recreation Center (Foster City)

They offer Hatha yoga classes.  Register online or by phone.

Yoga at Change (San Mateo)

Classes offered are Vinyasa, Yin, restorative, Iyengar, extra gentle and Sampoorna yoga. Classes are offered all week and at all times from morning to evening. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat to class with you (or purchase at their store). Allow 10 minutes to sign and settle in before class. The studio accommodates 15 students per class, so be there early to get a space.
