Coyote Hills Regional Park

The park is home to 978 acres of marshland and rolling grassland covered hills. It is popular for walking, bicycling and bird watching.  On site is a 2,000-year old Tuibun Ohlone Indian shellmound sites and its archaeological resources. There are trails through the marsh and trails with views of San Francisco and the South Bay.  At the visitor center, there are restrooms and drinking fountains. A bird and butterfly nectar garden is near the visitor center.

Requirements

Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times.

Operating Hours

Open from 8 AM to 6 PM with one or two hour extension for spring and summer months. Visitor Center is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM except holidays.

Fees

There are vehicle and dog fees collected only on weekends. Guide-service dogs are free.

Disabled Access

At the Visitor Center, there are 2 disabled parking sites and accessible drinking fountains and public restrooms.
