South San Francisco Walking Tours
The South San Francisco Historical Society has identified 50 sites that are of historic interest. There are markers along the trail that include a brief statement of the site's historical significance. The are three tours that cover approximately 4.5 square miles and travel through areas where industrial companies once flourished, the old downtown and hotels where early settlers boarded as well as prominent homes, farms, schools, and other significant locations.
