Coyote Point County Recreational Area (San Mateo)

The east side of the long, shady beach is good for swimming because it has small waves.  The west side is a popular windsurfer spot because it is exposed to more wind.

Joinville Swim Center (San Mateo)

The Swim Center is open all year and offers adult swim lessons, water aerobics, recreational and lap swimming as well as Masters Marlin swimming.  There are two swimming pools – a larger, 6-lane pool 4.5 feet to 6 feet deep and a smaller shallow water training pool 2 feet to 3.5 feet deep.  The locker rooms and showers are heated.  They have lawn and deck space, and a patio with tables and chairs.

King Swim Center (San Mateo)

King Swim Center that has two swimming pools for recreational swimming. One pool is a 5 lane 25 yard pool 3 feet to 9 feet deep with a diving board. The other pool is a 20 foot by 16 foot training pool from 1.5 to 3.5 feet deep. They have heated locker rooms and showers, as well as a deck area with tables and chairs.

Parkside Aquatic Park (San Mateo)

Parkside Aquatic Park has a roped off salt water swim area with no waves and sandy beach. There is no lifeguard on duty.  The water is on the Marina Lagoon, not the bay.  There are restroom facilities.
