Tilden Regional Park
Tilden is a 2,079 acres park with many miles of trails. Within the park, Lake Anza has a sandy beach, changing rooms and cafe and is open for swimming from May to September with lifeguards on duty from 11 a.m.to 5 p.m. You can swim at your own risk within roped off area only, when lifeguards are off duty. Requirements
Dogs must be on a maximum six foot leash and waste must be disposed in garbage cans.

Park hours are 5am to 10pm.

Check if Lake Anza is open for swimming before you go.
Fees
Beach access fees are $3.50 age 16 to 61, $2.50 age 1 to 15, seniors over 62 years of age and disabled persons.
Disabled Access
The walk along Nimitz Way is paved and wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible features include drinking water, parking, trail access and restrooms at Inspiration Point on Wildcat Canyon Road.

Directions
On weekends and holidays, take AC Transit #67 from the Berkeley BART station into the park at Canon Drive, along Central Park Drive and Wildcat Canyon Road, and exit the park at Shasta Road. The route provides access to the Environmental Education Center and the Little Farm in Tilden Nature Area, the Merry-Go-Round, Lake Anza (a short walk), the Brazil Building, the Botanic Garden, and several trailheads. Buses run every 45 minutes. On weekdays #67 operates only to the Canon Drive and Shasta Road entrances.
