VIP Vasona Park Walk

On our two-mile leisurely walk along Vasona Lake to the native plant garden where we smelled, touched and learned about many different plants that the Native Americans used for medicinal purposes. We also learned about the history of the lake and its dam and how Valley Water keeps the water safe for wildlife that make their home in and around the lake. We ended the day with a picnic lunch by the lake. Thank you to Valley Water for supporting this walk!
