Vistas and Wildflowers of Rancho San Antonio

On this clear and sunny spring day, we walked on the shady trails of a former rancho. Along the way, we found and learned about the plants and wildflowers. After a gradual climb uphill, we were rewarded with a panoramic view of the bay, north to San Francisco and east to Mt. Hamilton. We headed down to our picnic spot at 150-year old Deer Hollow Farm and saw a baby Great Horned Owl and goats! Thank you to Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District for enabling older adults to get out to their preserves!
