Walk Along the South Rim of San Joses Oldest Park
On this sunny and cool day, we took a moderate 4 mile, one-way walk along the South Rim of San Jose's Oldest park with canyon and creek views along the way. In the early 1900's, this park was a famous health spa supplied by 27 natural mineral springs. We made a 600 ft descent into the valley and at the end of the hike, we stopped at the historic mineral springs before our leisurely lunch at a reserved group area. This special program is in partnership with the Santa Clara County Supervisor Otto Lee and the other county supervisors.
