Exclusive Old-growth Redwoods Forest Trip #2

On this day trip we ventured to a private property that is home to one of the few old-growth redwood forests. First we took a three-mile educational walk through the redwood forest led by an expert from Save the Redwoods League. Next, we relaxed with a social picnic lunch and appreciated our peaceful surroundings under the canopy of majestic trees that are hundreds of years old. Lastly, we learned about California wine history and tasted some California wines with a view of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
