Agriculture Walk in Coyote Valley

The clouds parted and the blue sky greeted us on our walk up to our panoramic picnic destination. The walk had views of the orchards and farmlands of Silicon Valley, once famously known as the Valley of the Heart's Delight. At our picnic spot, we had stunning views of the entire Coyote Valley. Along the way, we learned about the social, health, economic and environmental benefits of urban agriculture and history of this park from an expert. Thank you to Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority for their support of this hike in their open space through the Measure Q Environmental Education Grant Program.
