The Meyers House and Garden
The Meyers House is an historical monument of the city of Alameda. It was erected in 1897, is an example of Colonial Revival, an architectural style popular around the turn of the century. Designed by Henry H. Meyers,the house was built by his father, Jacob Meyers, at a cost of $4000.00.
Schedule
The house is presently open the fourth Saturday of the month. Hours for the museum are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 1:30pm to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 11a.m. to 4p.m.
Fees
Admission to the house is $3 per person. It is free to tour the museum at 2324 Alameda Avenue near Park Street.
