Coyote Point County Recreational Area
This area is 670 acres of peninsula that hosts beaches, marshes, large lawns, a marina and a nature museum. There is a jetty that is a great place to fish. There are boat launches at the marina. There is plenty of parking with many parking lots scattered throughout the park. Restrooms are located at the museum and near the beach.
Requirements
Dogs and other pets are not allowed.
Operating Hours
The park opens at 8 am and closes one half hour before sunset. The Wildlife Habitat Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday noon to 5 pm and it is closed on Mondays. Call to check hours on holidays
Fees
There is a $4 entrance fee for the park and additional fee for the museum.

Directions
From the south, take hwy 101 north to the Dore Avenue exit, take an immediate left onto N. Bayshore Blvd and head north towards the park entrance on Coyote Point Drive. From the north, take hwy 101 south, take the Poplar Avenue exit. Turn right onto Humbolt, then turn right onto Peninsula Avenue. Go over the freeway, and then circle around and into the park at Coyote Point Drive.
