Shoreline Lake
Shoreline Lake is manmade and offers a place for sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, rowing and canoeing (no motorized craft are allowed). It is also a wildlife sanctuary and home to many rare, migratory birds. There are 50 acres of lake shores that can be used for picnicking or take out from the cafe. Pedalboats, canoes, kayaks, rowboats, windsurfers or sailboats can be rented on an hourly basis. Also available are public restrooms and freshwater showers and 50 cents per use lockers. Wind patterns March through September are lighter in the mornings (5 to 8 knots until about 12:30pm) increasing to 15 to 18 knots by 3:00pm.
Operating Hours
Fall, Winter and Spring (October through March) hours are weekdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm and weekends from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Summer (March through October)hours are weekdays from 10:00am to 5:30pm and weekends from 10:00am to 6:30pm.
Fees
For those with their own boats, there is a launch fee for different types of boats. Free entrance and parking.

Directions
From Highway 101, take Shoreline Boulevard east to the Shoreline Park entrance. After passing the entrance kiosk, proceed to the Lakeside Cafe parking area.
