Saratoga Gap Open Space
The park has 1,540-acres with trails for mountain bikers, hikers and horse. The Saratoga Gap Trail parallels Skyline Boulevard with views of the ocean, passing under oaks and a wooded Douglas fir forest. View lichen-covered boulders and sandstone.

Parking is available at the Caltrans vista point on the southeast corner of the Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35) and Highway 9 intersection. Cross Highway 9 to reach the trailhead for Saratoga Gap Open Space Preserve, located at the northeastern corner of this junction.
